The Advanced Rendering Institute ARI (pronounced ‘r-e’) is Volley’s training partner. Started in 2020 ARI teaches the methods and mechanics of computer-generated imagery through online and in-person learning experiences. Courses are designed to offer students the tools and techniques necessary to generate professional-grade CG imagery. Ranging from real-time to still-image rendering, animations and immersive environments, ARI courses can accommodate students from a variety of educational and professional backgrounds.
ARI is the first educational hub dedicated entirely to CG design and technology in New York City. With the highest concentration of technology firms in New York City, the neighborhood of Dumbo, Brooklyn is our home.
ARI was launched with the express purpose of filling the current void in CG education. ARI strives to provide less experienced creatives the tools necessary to visualize their ideas and to enhance the skills of those who are already adept CG designers. The highly specialized courses offered at ARI are led by industry experts and structured to provide students with direct feedback and support. Working with the most advanced visualization softwares and tools, ARI strives to provide its students with a creative and competitive edge in their own industries.
